Half/Pack^® With Freightliner^® EconicSD^™

The newly integrated Heil Half/Pack body with Freightliner EconicSD chassis is now available in both Commercial and Residential front load packages.

This exclusive offering gives customers the proven Half/Pack with standard Odyssey® Controls that deliver a level of performance and smooth operation that no one can duplicate.

The new articulating arm design maintains the industry standard 13’ 6” stowed arm height, and can operate automatically so the driver can simply carry on as usual without having to learn a new method of dumping.

With the Freightliner EconicSD, operators can kneel the cab to make ingress and egress easier. The larger European cab design also provides greater visibility and improves operational visibility. The EconicSD also comes standard with the Detroit Assurance® suite of safety systems, including active brake assist, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning to reduce the likelihood of accidents.

In addition, the EconicSD / Half/Pack commercial front loader offering can be upgraded with the Heil Autonomous Lift Option (H.A.L.O.) to make commercial route collection even simpler and safer.
